Here is a recently completed project in the Tauranga CBD where we have completed a full replacement roof and access upgrade system to a building housing 4 tenants across 2 levels. This project highlights our ability to complete such a range of tasks with with inhouse staff, and work in and manager sub contractors to complete a well thought out upgraded system that’s accessible, serviceable, waterproof and visually beautiful.
Scope of Work
For this project, we completed a complete overhaul for this building roof area, replacing the ageing residential style 5 rib roofing with Diamonds DP955 commercial roofing iron in 0.55 gage and new RU24 synthetic underlay.
We also have replaced the aging butynol internal gutter system with a new, TPO membrane system to assist in draining the huge volumes of water the roof can hold, while limiting joints required over the 45 meter length.
We completed this project with a new Monkey Toe access walkway and roof hatch system, to help future contractors have a safe and convenient way to service aircon units and other plant on the roof.
This system pairs perfectly with our 16mm plywood supported standing seam back tray, allowing us to cover 3.2 meters of tray with minimal rivet joints and maximum strength. All while localizing the services to one neat tidy area of the roof, with space to grow and expand in the future.
